Default Altdorf Invaded - Monolith Destro Burns Library!

Last night - Monolith Destruction forces rampaged through the streets of Altdorf.

Led in no small part by Casualties of War, our macro-alliance managed to lock two forts and burn Altdorf!

We then proceeded to farm Altdorf for Invader gear for six hours! Boring at times yes, but some really nice loot was gotten by all!

Grats guys - you stuck it out and persevered - and this is a great acheivement.

Did you stay online for all 6 hours? Who among us got gold bags, and how many pieces?

I did stay on for all 6 hours... every time I'd get sleepy I'd win a gold bag!

I stayed on for roughly 3 hours. Won a gold bag (invader belt, ugh) and 3 purples. Didn't open the purples yet, hoping they'll be better after 1.2.

Ob, I'm assuming we weren't able to advance the siege to the next stage?

Nah we sort of made a collective decision not to.

If we had, we would have had minimal forces left (warded) to be able to complete the next stage.

Need more Dark Promise and Invader geared folks to push the next stage.

I took a few but they are at home on the gaming pc.

Rest assured, the next time we are there I will be taking some creative shots.

I was distracted by the shiney gold bags!

It was awesome fun! Even though I didn't do any of the city stuff, taking the forts was a real blast. I managed to get a gold bag, as well.

I stayed on until midnight my time, and I think there was about three and a half hours left on the city. I won invader shoulders, then won them AGAIN!!

No purple bags here, but I did win a green. Was fun, but I had work the next morning so I bugged out.

    Shoulders
    Helmet
    Belt

seven purple bags (unopened hoping for improived loot via 1.2)

very grindy but who the heck knows when we'll have that chance again? Hope soon cause I still need the gear for Obmar (6/6 Sent) and Obdread is still sporting Annihilator chest...

Screw you and your overgeared toons you bastard, I'm still working on 6/6 sent for ONE character.

On topic: I wonder if those bags will actually get updated, or if only the new drops will. Hopefully all you guys get sweet stuff for holding on to those bags though.

Grats to the Destro CoWs!!! That is an awesome accomplishment.

We are getting closer on the Order side, but still a bit to do before we can make that push. I am envious....

The funny thing is Drac, that Destro has actually been getting together in a server wide alliance to meet each other, plan, coordinate, and generally get our act together. We've seen it succeed on a small scale already, and we had planned to make a push at some point.

But the Altdorf push on Tuesday night of this week was completely unplanned. It basically just unfolded that way as the evening went along. Granted, we were using some of our new planning once we realized it was happening, but it's just ironic.

The game is evolving right before our very eyes. Even the pugs are starting to get the hang of things. In the last week destro on Badlands has pressed the city twice, and the fortresses practically every day.

Last night Order with a couple of warbands from our alliance and some other pugs pressed and came within 10% of capturing Fells landing, totally unplanned, but once the ball got going we all pulled together and almost pulled it off.

Today is our RVR event day and the alliance and coalition are both planning on making some moves, I can only hope they will save some for me when I get home from work.
